Start: At the Headwaters Quest Box (a quarter mile up the Elk River Trail from the Elk River Trailhead)

Driving Directions
Take Exit Herrick Ave/ Elk River Rd. (# 702) from HWY 101 (just south of Eureka).
Northbound, turn right, then right again onto Elk River Road and drive approximately 6 miles to the Elk River Trailhead parking area.
Southbound, turn left over the overpass and then right onto Elk River Road (see directions above).
